Japanese Hotel Pod

June 23, 2017

There are some travelers which need nothing more than a hotel or a place to get some sleep for some hours. These travelers don’t need much as they will be doing other stuff so they require just a nice place to stay a while. Thus, Japanese hotel pod inspired hotels are perfect for them. Luckily, these kinds of hotels are becoming much popular. Some of them are like compact cruise cabins which serve the only purpose of getting some sleep.

Hotels like Pod 39 Hotel in New York include really tiny rooms in Manhattan. The rooms are really functional as the building emphasizes in common areas and amenities. This fact encourages guest to interact. It even includes a rooftop area. There are other options like 9 Hours, located in Kyoto (Japan), where guests sleep in capsules in which you aren’t even able to stand. The rooms are large enough for just one person, like a business class airplane seat. Travelers will be able to stay there for a minimum of four hours and a maximum of seventeen. The idea is to check in just to sleep.

So, if you are traveling with a low budget or you just need a place for the night, these hotels are a great option.
